Can't connect to friends' party and game sessions.

I have been able to connect to these two friends in the past. I'm not sure when the problems began to occur, as I was less actively using my Xbox for a while. I have a few questions, and really do not know what I am doing when it comes to this stuff, so
be patient with me. All help is appreciated!

Firstly, one of my friends and I both have an Open NAT. We still cannot connect, so other than NAT type, what could be keeping us from connecting?

Also, if my NAT is open with automatic settings, is port forwarding necessary? I have tried doing so just to see if it would make a difference, but after using a port checker, they are still closed.

Somewhat recently, I switched ISPs. I think (not entirely sure) that I have connected to my friends after the switch, but could this be causing problems? Two of us for sure have the same ISP, the other I would need to ask. Not sure if any of that makes
a difference, but I hope that's enough information that we can figure this out, or at least get us started.

Can't connect to a specific friend

When I try to connect to a friend's xbox party, it says that I can't join the party. This happens sometimes. However, I can never join this specific friend's game.

We play Assassin's Creed 4 Multiplayer together frequently but it doesn't let me connect to his game session, and he can't connect to mine as well. It was fine a couple of days ago. I've already portforward my xbox a long time ago too. I can connect to
all of my other friends except this specific friend of mine.

Any suggestions? I'll link my friend to this post so he can discuss as well.

 

Same problem here. What makes this even stranger here is the fact that I can create and join games online, and the same applies to my friend. However, if we attempt to join same party chat or game, we get an error message. On Xbox Live Party, it says "Can't
connect to Live Party. There may be network problems." On online games, the error message changes depending on the game. On Forza 4 it says "Player unreachable", on Minecraft it says "Connection to the host was lost".

We don't get any NAT warnings or other error messages when using "Test Xbox Live Connection" option. Also, both of us have UPnP enabled.

My Xbox 360 Slim is connected to the Internet and live via LTE wireless modem router with an Ethernet cable; my friend's Xbox 360 Elite is connected to a PC with an Ethernet cable, and the PC connects to the Internet through a wireless 4G mobile modem, thus
the Internet and Live connection are done from Xbox to PC to wireless modem by using network bridging.

I think the problems started after I moved into a new address, there was a Ethernet connection available already but the service was so technically unstable and lousy, I got fed up and decided to buy a wireless LTE router with its own SIM card.

Any ideas for fixing this problem would be highly appreciated.

Yep, still having trouble. Friends who have the same ISP as I do can't connect. Any ideas on what's up?

 

Do you, by any chance, know if your public IP is already NAT'd? Meaning that your public IP would actually be a
private IP address, NAT'd within your ISP's realm.

 

i just added a friend today but she cant join my party but al my other friends on my list can join my party..it has to be on her end..how do i get her to fix it so she can join my party and game

 

and there no error..just wont let her join
