Can't connect to FH4 Online

Whenever I attempt to join Horizon Life, after 4 minutes it comes up with an orange box in the top middle of my screen saying failed. When I

Click the 2 square button on my controller it

Comes up saying unable to join session then a

Load of random numbers and stuff, it says it

SSuccessfully connected to the session and that my region is west Europe, even though when I googled it l, England is North Europe. It also says "failed to resolve server address. Check your

DNS settings and try again" but I wouldn't know what to look for in my DNS settings... please help

11 days for me..... better be fixed soon.... it's not as if the have a newer game to play.

Never? Weeks? Months? Who knows. The Toredo issue with PCs last Summer went on for a month or more and some still have issues with it now. Ultimately, it depends how important Microsoft thinks the issue is...given the game is 3 years old and not a big money making game now, I suspect it's low on their priority list...after all we have had problems with connectivity for over a year now (which were never resolved) and which were then which were exacerbated by the Steam release...this is just a continuation of that really.

Couple of people on the Forza forum have had replies to whatever tickets they sent in which state that it is a server issue and is being investigated. Not sure who the ticket was directed to (presumably Microsoft) as PGG just reply with copy/paste answers usually so we shall see

The DNS Setting message is a complete red herring...the issue is unrelated to DNS issues...I have set my Xbox DNS settings to numerous settings (Google DNS, Cloudflare etc) and it makes no difference.

The issue is a server side issue of some sort affecting primarily older consoles and WIndows users...friends on new consoles have next to no issues. Given this has been going on for weeks now and no fix has been done, I think we can safely say that no fix will be incoming either, especially as it only affects Horizon 4. Welcome to the world of Microsoft
