    Can't connect to EA servers/Xbox Live


    I purchased an Xbox One in January and have since replaced it with a new console but I am having the same problems as before, that is, losing connection to EA servers when trying to play Battlefield 4 multiplayer, and also losing connection to Xbox Live.
    I will sit in front of my console and watch it repeatedly drop and then regain connection to Xbox Live and the EA servers. I have tried port forwarding, hard resetting my router, uninstalling and then reinstalling my profile, installing a static IP etc etc.
    Nothing works. I didn't have a problem with my Xbox 360 in the same situation so I don't understand why the Xbox One is the problem. Any help is greatly appreciated

    Great now i need to be online to play offline

    XBOX servers are up and running according to the support page. Is it XBOX or EA that you can't connect to? If you can't connect to Live, call support and obtain help in restoring your connection. If EA servers are down, try disconnecting from Live completely
    and launching the single player campaign, I could have sworn I have played it offline before.

    Need help connecting to EA Servers

    I can connect online on CoD Ghosts, but I can't connect to EA Servers on NBA 2K14 or FIFA 14. I also can't connect to Xbox Live parties, but I did get a private chat with my friend. What is going on?

    I'm located in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

    Router/Modem is Netgear DGND4000

    Only my Xbox One is connected to the router

    Wired straight to the router

    UpnP is enabled

    NAT is good with no connection errors

    Network diagnostics are 15 mbps DL, 1 mbps UL, 200 ms ping, no packet loss

    ISP is Internode ADSL2 with a Telstra phone line

    Error code is simply "you have lost connection to the EA server" or "you have lost connection to Xbox Live"

    Xbox Live status shows that games aren't having a problem right now.

    I've been looking around some various sources online and people are reporting EA server outages within the last 12 hours (from the time of this posting). If the EA servers are inaccessible, then it will affect getting FIFA 16 from being able to get online.
    I can't exactly find an official live server status from EA (other than third-party sources where people must report server outages themselves).

    Your best bet is to just simply wait and try again later. It could be working by now, or not. EA games often need to connect to EA servers first regardless of Xbox Live's status.

    this is not a problem on your end, it is EA that is the problem. EA forces us to use their servers and EA drops old games from their servers in favour of newer ones that are played more. also sometimes their server is crapping out with so many connections.
    so when you boot the game its connects through live first then connects to EA...and boom!!! disconnect issues (but your still connected to live)

    As I understand, after console boot, You can login to Xbox Live, but can't connect to EA servers, without rebooting of Your modem, I'm right?

    Do You use wired or wireless connection for Your Xbox One?
