Can't Connect to Destiny.

No server connection

It's Xbox. I can't play Destiny or connect to Ubisoft either.

 

Can't Connect to Live But Have a Network Connection

I can't connect to Xbox Live. Trying to play Destiny and gives me an error of 0x80048051

 

Same thing hapend to me but, I could join now do this:

i join destiny and the game sings me out, but the destiny main title still on,

i press A to start the game and show me a message to conect to xbox live, there i sing to xbox live and that way i could play, i hope this work whit u guys as well. Cheers

 

I was playing with 3 friends on a story mission when one of them disconnected from this same problem. The moment they signed back in and rejoined, I disconnected and couldn't reconnect, even after resetting my modem and router. Not so good first week for
this game.

 

I cleared my system cashe and it works for me now

 

Could it be updates? Its happening to me on a Monday morning. And my Xbox keeps making loud grinding noises.

 

The issue seems to occur randomly for me. I've tried nearly every solution several times, and its hit or miss with each one. Clearing system cache, deleting system cache, deleting/reinstalling compatibility update, redownloading xbox live profile, port
forwarding, signing into xbox live after starting destiny... I've tried them all and every one has NOT worked, and then seemingly randomly, I'll be able start the game like normal. This post is to basically say that THERE IS NO KNOWN SURE SOLUTION/WORKAROUND.
This is a problem Bungie will hopefully address soon. Sorry to everyone missing out on valuable play time.

 

(XBOX 360 ONLY) I have fixed the problem lol go to system setting-storage-Hard drive-system items and the delete which ever CONTENT CACHE, you download for destiny, but you if you dont remember which one that is then sorry your just *** until they fix it

Way to drop the ball with this one Microsoft. I am having the same problem that apparently quite a few people are suffering from. It's frustrating getting a brand new $60 game that runs completely online and I can't even stay connected to Live in order to
play it. But, as soon as I go to the dashboard, I connect right back as if nothing was wrong. Way to go Xbox, way to go. Should've bought a PS4.

 

Also, just to add to what I said a minute ago, I don't have an Xbox One, but you can bet I won't be buying one if this is the kind of messed up online service we can expect from Microsoft, especially when this is the first weekend after releasing a HUGE
franchise.

 

Same problem here. It just started, not 1 minute after I finally completed the PVP part of the Exotic Bounty for the Thorn Hand Cannon. I'm pretty annoyed, since I don't even know if the fact that I completed the bounty saved.

 

I thought I was going crazy, glad to know I'm not alone.

 

Installed update, all is not lost!

 

I'm not sure how old this thread is relatively but the same thing happened to me in Australia connection

I just kept logging in and out, with different variations of attempts and eventually the game let me in without disconnecting

If this happens to you, keep trying and it should eventually budge,

and believe bungie will fix it soon, as I believe It might've happened due to the recent update messing with something
