Can't connect to COD multiplayer

I can start my xbox fine and sign in, but when i go to load COD multiplayer it says theres a problem with the servers. This is happening in both multiplayer and zombies online. Tried resetting xbox and internet and neither has helped. Any suggestions?

Servers down, but defcon says not?!?!?!?!

Same here. Can't connect to any multiplayer in COD :-( Friends playing fine though.

I GOT A STUPID ERROR CODE PLZ HELP

I got an error code 0x87dd001a I can't play multiplayer without it saying connect to xbox live or sign in using controller plz help IM SO ANGRY!!!!!!

I dont know. I went to play. I signed in then it says I need to be connected to xbox live and I am. There might be something going on

What do you expect? This happens with every COD game. I can't even take the multiplayer serious in COD.

I keep losing connection to ea servers after one or two games.. I can't get into cod advanced warfare online and if I do it lags out after a few seconds..my friends tab just disappears. All this happens while signed into Xbox live with a perfect network
connection.. Checked multiplayer connection an that's fine yet I can't play games online..what's the story??

For the past week or so, my multiplayer connection has been unstable. My modem/live connections are working just fine. One time I will login to COD multiplayer and it will let me in.... works fine. Then the next day it won't work. It tells me the COD
servers are unavailable. Keeps going back and forth...... frustrating.

I watched some videos of it and from what I've heard, you will NOT require a subscription/pay. That's why COD and Halo and most games don't charge for multiplayer service on Xbox. Because your Xbox Live Gold membership covers multiplayer on Xbox. But it
will require you to be connected to Xbox Live and the game servers in order to play, you can't even play single player without an Xbox Live and game developers servers connection.
