Can't connect to anything ! HELP

Dear people,

When i put on my xbox 360 a hour ago and want to join a party i can't join... i even can't send messages to people and i can't see their profiles.

What is this problem...... ?? When i want to join a xbox live party it says : Can't connect to xbox live party... i never ever had this before this is the first time !

When i checked a failure notification thing on the xbox website i saw that there are 18 or more people with the same probleem at the same time as me !

So i dont know what i need to do now.. my english is bad because im from the netherlands and i have xbox live, i have a good internet connection and i can log in with my xbox live account.... this is pretty strange and i never had this before.

When i logged in on the xbox site i even got a message that told me that i got a failure notification ? There where some codes and stuff but i cant get them back because i clicked it away and got in the forums to search for a reason why i have this problem..

WHO CAN HELP ME ?

Can't connect to Xbox Live after 12/6/11 update.

New to the forums here, so Hello Everyone!

I'm also having this problem. I can't get my Xbox to connect to anything.

I can't help but wonder how we are going to fix this problem when the console won't connect to XBL to download a fix. =(

No connection. Please help!

There's no connection to my Xbox 360 whatsoever, trying to connect to my live profile, it fails. Trying to connect to my offline profile, it fails. I can't play anything on my 360 please help!

Hey there icecoldc0re!

Sorry to hear about the connection issues, I can definitely understand how frustrating that could be. Now, let's see what we can do to get this issue sorted.

Please try the following steps:

First you should check out the Status of LIVE to see if there are any known issues that affect you or are related to the issue.

If you see that there are no status alerts after checking the link above, navigate to the settings tab from the Dashboard.

Select System and then select Network Settings.

Select the appropriate network (wired or wireless), and then select Test Xbox Live Connection.

Check to see if the test comes back with an error.

After trying the steps above, let us know what error you are experiencing and we will go from there.

To start out, can you clarify what happens when you and your friend try to connect? Is there a particular error code? Any difference if one or the other invites?

I have this same problem, there aren't any error codes. We can connect in parties, but it takes a minute for us to connect. But in games is always says "Game unavailable" or "Host Not Found" Regardless of who invites who. We can only play together if we
are playing with a third person who is hosting for us and we connect to them. Once in game we don't lag at all

I did multiple times... It shows that it can't connect to anything. It knows the network is there and tries to connect, but it can't.

I have fixed this. just did a factory reset via USB
