    Can't connect to any multiplayer


    I have been unable to connect to any multiplayer services since I purchased the Xbox One. I can connect to Xbox Live and download updates fine, but I'm never able to find any matches. I've run the Test Multiplayer Connection test in the settings, and it
    says "We're not sure what's wrong" and gives me the error code 0x1040040002000064. I cannot find this error code in your troubleshooting section. I have also recently forwarded my ports to get my NAT to be open, but this did not fix the issue. I have tried
    with UPnP both on and off.

    I am located in Oregon, USA.

    Modem: HughesNet HT1100

    Router: Netgear N600 Dual Band WNDR3400

    Wireless connection (Though I have tried wired and I did not work either)

    My ISP is HughesNet

    Can't connect to any multiplayer game

    Hey,

    Since a couple of days ago I can't seem to connect to any multiplayer game, I've tested: COD Black Ops 3, COD Ghosts and Battlefield 1 trial.

    All games presumably start normally and than after a few seconds (before actually joining any game) I get a message saying I was disconnected from the server.

    I didn't change my network settings, my router configuration or my internet ISP...

    Any ideas?

    Hi Sr- I don't have any good answer for you at this time, but a simple search has shown me most people cannot play any online Xbox games with Hughes net. Seems as though the ping is astronomically high (no pun intended).Some work but that vast majority
    seem not to.

    there are tons of articles out there with online gaming and Hughes net not just for Live service. I am hoping someone with Hughes net can chime in and provide some guidance.

    Yeah, I don't expect to be able to play FPS games or anything like that, but there must be a way to connect to multiplayer for some things.

    Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

    In this case, kindly perform an extended powercycle and reset your network hardware by following the steps below:

    1. Unplug the power cable from the back of the router, modem, or gateway for 5 minutes. If you have a router and a modem, unplug the power cable from both devices.

    2. Press and hold the Xbox button on your console for 10 seconds or until it turns off then wait for 2 minutes before turning it on again.

    3. After 5 minutes, plug the modem or gateway in first, and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    4. If you are using a router, plug in the router and wait for all the lights to return to their normal state.

    If that didn't work, I would appreciate it if you can let me know all the games that you're trying as well as the exact error.
