Cant connect/sync xbox controller

Hi,

I am having trouble syncing my controller to my xbox, the button on the side doesn't seem to work, i have tried connecting with a cable but the controller vibrates and then nothing happens. The controller works fine as i can sync it to a different xbox without
a problem.

Have tried resetting my xbox multiple times but hasn't worked, so any other ideas on how to fix this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Sorry about that but its normal , controller just sync with one device, you cant sync it with both devices in order to work...

I have a first generation xbox one and the controler model is 1537. I cant get the controler to sync with the xbox and the few times it did it lost connection shortly after. Any ideas?

Just got an xbox one s and im trying to play multiplayer split screen in minecraft. I can not get the second controller to sync

Hello Rob,

Sorry for the issue with your controller. Have you tried a different controller on your Xbox. If that doesn't work being the controllers do work on another console you may want to get a repair done. You can go to

device support to fill out a repair.
