Cant connect or Play games

I brought my xbone just a week ago and since then its had fine connection no trouble but suddenly today it just wont connect to my WI-FI, its wireless but until now that's been no trouble. Not been able to access internet is annoying but whats worse is I
cant even PLAY MY GAMES I just get the message " To start *GAME NAME* WE need to connect to xbox live make sure your xbox is online then sign in and try again", I thought that when I brought my xbox I could still play games offline even without a connection.

Anyone got a fix or answer please because right now my xbox is just a paper weight in my room with no use D:

I'm connect to the internet but I cant connect to Xbox live

I cant connect to Xbox live my homepage has "connect to Xbox live" i can see my friends list but I cant join party's or play games.

UPDATE: Games work now but still I am no closer to fixing my connection PLEASE HALP

This worked for me, go to settings then go to system and start up and press restart now.

I cant even play anything I have the Xbox one s and requires something because I cant play offline and im connected to my internet runs perfectly. But for some reason I cant play games. I'm beyond frustrated
