Can't connect, or get booted from online

Whenever I try to play GTAV online, I can sometimes play for a little while, but then I get booted off. And then when I try to reconnect, It's basically impossible. I either get timed out, I get a message saying it cannot find any friends who I can play
with, although I'm talking to some who are currently playing and I was just playing with, or Rockstar servers are down, even though I can check online that they aren't, and as mentioned before my friends are currently playing. My internet speeds are above
the requirements for the games, my NAT is open, my xbox one is hardwired, and when tested my connection is good according to LIVE. Can anyone for the love of god please tell me why this is happening?!?! This is the only game I have any trouble at all playing
online. I'm about ready to trade this game in for something that works. Thank you for any help!!

Massive LIVE Update

I don't know.. but ever since the update, I'm getting booted from games, can't connect to Xbox Live occassionally. Really... this is what update is for?

 

im getting booted offline from Fox Jab

all i was doing was playing online on mw2 and this guy started talking trash and then he said i was gonna get booted offline next thing you know i couldn't connect anymore i had to call my isp

I want This guy banned from xbox

Sorry to hear about the issue. I know you said your internet is fine and you're still connected however next time it happens, please try unplugging your Xbox console from everything as well as your home network. Wait 5 minutes or so to allow everything to
reset itself and then try again. Barring that, what is the make/model of your networking hardware? Both router and modem, if they are separate things. Also, do note that servers can act differently for everyone sometimes so you may run into

Hello, thank you for your help. I did what you suggested, and it helped somewhat. I unplugged everything for about 30 minutes. After plugging everything back in, I was able to play for a little while with no issues. Then I got booted from the game, and
received a message saying the connection was lost due to an unknown error. I was able to get back into GTA online a few times, but a few minutes after running around, or trying to enter an activity, the same thing would happen, and I'd receive the unknown
error message again. Also I noticed a message in the bottom corner of my screen saying the game was unable to save because it could not connect to Rockstars server, If it helps any, I have a Netgear N600 wi-fi modem/router combo. Thank you!!
