    Can't connect between Minecraft Windows 10 and Minecraft Switch


    I have Minecraft on both my PC and Switch and tried to connect my Switch to one of my Windows 10 worlds and it loads it for a while and then says "can't connect to world" They're on the 1.5.3 version and when I try to connect my
    PC to one of my Switch worlds it works fine. How do I fix this?

    Minecraft win 10 edition - friends can't connect to me

    We were playing Minecraft windows 10 edition normally to this day, connecting through xbox live on our PCs, but today suddenly we can't. I am hosting and my friend can't connect to me. It's loading map and at the end just says: "unable to connect". Strangely,
    I can connect to his game, but he can't connect to mine. We both have windows 10 pc and Minecraft win 10 edition. Earlier it worked fine, there were no changes in settings. Please help!

    I own Minecraft Bedrock Edition for the Xbox One and I would like to play it on my PC.

    To be able to play Minecraft on a pc you will need to purchase the game for Windows 10, as it is not a play anywhere title unfortunatly.

    It is crossplay enable between Xbox One, mobile, Windows 10 and Nintendo Switch.

    ... I am transferring a Minecraft world from xbox one edition Minecraft to Java edition and Windows 10 edition.
    The Minecraft Xbox One Edition only works on the Xbox One Edition.

    You might want to upgrade to the Minecraft (without Xbox One Edition in the name) on your Xbox. If you bought Minecraft Xbox One Edition digitally, you can upgrade to "Minecraft" for free.

    Then you can import your world from the Xbox One Edition to "Minecraft" for Xbox One.

    However, the Support page for Windows 10 Minecraft states: "The Windows 10 Edition does not currently support the transferring of worlds from other devices."

    So you can't transfer your world between devices.

    You might have to move your World to a paid online Realm server to access it. Or you might have to run your Xbox One Minecraft in Multiplayer, and connect to the running world on your Xbox One with your Windows 10 version.

    But you can't have your World separately transferred from Xbox to other devices.

    As I said, you can try hosting your world on a Realm server (which you need to pay for), and can then access it with Windows 10, Xbox One, Android, iOS and Nintendo Switch.

    But not JAVA.

    Minecraft Bedrock edition is not a PlayAnywhere title. You will need to purchase the game for Windows 10 unfortunatly.

    It is crossplay enabled between Windows 10, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and mobile. Where you can use the same account to play.
