Can't connect a keyboard??

Been a PS fan since PS1.... but I just got a slim Xbox 1 so I could play through the Halo and Gears stories, Scalebound's coming.... figured wth I'd get one. There's just one thing I can think of atm that I cant' figure out. When I was making my purchasing
account through the Edge browser, I tried to connect my Microsoft Bluetooth keyboard, but I couldn't find the Bluetooth device menu. I can connect this KB to my PS3, PS4, Tablet, phone, even my Vita..... how the **** do I connect it to my X1 Slim if I need
to type alot?

great that you're researching here, but the quickest path to a solution is your own new thread.

That being said, DirectTV uses a satellite service for connection, right? Then it will have awful latency and lag. Not much we can do about that.

Can't connect to a friend

Im having this exact issue... both open NAT. We can connect and play only when someone else hosts. Other than that we cannot do anything but send messages to each over xbox live. I know we don't have the same router BUT every other Call of Duty I used to
play with him all the time. I'm extremely frustrated.

 

Anyone? How do I connect a BT keyboard to the X1 Slim? Or did Microsoft forget a basic function?

 

Don't think you can, I believe you can use a USB keyboard. Your other option is to buy the little keyboard adapter that plugs into the bottom of the controller.

I have also seen a Youtube video showing that some HID compliant wireless keyboard work (the sort that come with a little USB dongle) so that may also be an option.

 

so a wired keyboard will work? Eh guess I can do that if I ever have to type more then a code again. Thanks
