Cant configure XBox S after unboxing

Hi.

I just received my XBox S yesterday. I connected by the app to the console, but it keep freezing after the app says the console must be updated (1,3 gb).

I connected by wifi and also lan. But same result.

Any ideas on whats happening and how can i fix it?

Is the first time I have an XBox and was a little frustrating.

I’m sorry for the trouble, have you tried a different network connection such as mobile hotspot with enough data?

Did you try as per my previous post? Try re-configure the Devolo powerline adapter's as it were when you first unboxed them. Keep us posted!

And thank you for such a quick reply. Just to be more specific, we have never used XBOX Live. When I said "setup" i just meant unboxing it and played one or two games of Lego cops or whatever, but not online. The yes was in reference to that is when
the Gamer Tag was created, during the setup of the XBOX after unboxing it.
