    Can't Clear Space On Cloud Storage


    I just bought the original Mass Effect on my Xbox One and, like all backwards compatibility games, can only save to the cloud. No problem. Except I've somehow managed to go 9mb over my allotted cloud storage space.

    So I've spent the last 2.5 hours going through every guide I can find on just how to clear stuff off of one's cloud storage so I can actually play my game, tried everything I could find, and I have nothing to show for it.

    So either there is no way to clear your cloud storage, but there is some way to exceed it, and I'm totally SOL, OR I'm missing something obvious. Really hoping it's the latter.

    Can anyone help out?

    Clearing cache

    I'm trying to set up cloud storage on my Xbox 360 so I can play on my Xbox one.

    Following directions for clearing cache does nothing. When I get to storage, it only displays flash drive, Press Y for options, press clear cache, shows progress page and goes instantly back to storage. Nothing has happened.

    I try to enable cloud storage, and am unable to do this because there is not enough space, must have so much space on hard drive.

    Yes. With a gold subscription you can use the cloud storage. There is 512 mb of space on cloud storage.

    Why did my Xbox say can’t save no more space. Then clear 50% of the space in my Xbox.

    50% of space has no bearing on the error

    The error is that your save space is full it's seperate from your storage space

    There is a reserved area of your hdd specifically for saves

    This includes cloud so if you are having multiple times different saves you need to cut back .on it

    Or.rely on cloud if it is loud you need to clear your cloud savea

    What happen when you clear local saved games

    The Xbox One has a specially reserved storage space to keep a local copy of the cloud savegames stored online.

    That storage space is only used to keep a local copy of your savegames to speed up loading, or to store savegames temporarily when your console was not connected online.

    If you clear that save game storage, this storage is cleared.

    If the console was connected online, your savegames are already synced to the cloud, and will be re-downloaded the next time you start a game.

    If there are unsynchronized savegames on your console, because the console was offline, your savegame for that offline play will be lost.

    As to "figure out how to move storage space from my OneDrive to the hard drive": You can't move storage space from OneDrive (digital cloud storage) to your hard drive (physical)...it doesn't work like that. The only way to increase storage space is either delete enough off of your primary drive to create the required space or purchase more storage either with an internal drive or an external drive

    Hi All, thank you for your help.

    I have gone into system storage and on the left it shows...

    Clear local saved games

    Clear local Xbox 360 storage

    Make more space

    On the right it shows the internal and external drives.

    The Xbox is definately online and I also currently have a 2 week Gold subscription too.

    I understand that on the left the panel should say something to do with the cloud storage but, that's not there.

    You all are saying that the saves should be on the cloud but, I can't see any reference to it on the Xbox. Can I see the files from my account on a PC or Mac?

    You can't use the game anymore best thing is to delete it to clear up some storage space
