At this point in time having owned both since day one for both, am still system neutral.

Up until TF, I was heavier on PS4 time, becuase of friends that were on it more often. My X1 friends actually play on the x360 almost as often as their X1.

Ignoring comfort (personal opinion), I am annoyed with PS4 battery life. For people that plug it in every night, I guess no biggie, but I am used to the x360, just swap batteries once a week or more. The PS4 lightbar is Great for playing in a dark room and
needing to find your drink, where to plug that cable back in, etc. I don't like it for when playing say Outlast (or dead space, etc type games) It illuminates the tv. some put tape over it. Honestly in the end, I call it a wash.

The PS4, OS just feels clumsy. Example, open amazon video, drop to menu to text friends, its then about 4 stick movements and a button press to get back to amazon prime, but it is also done from a menu tree so, if you accidentally think you were in netflix,
ooops. X1 is vastly superior here. I do think I like the PS4 netflix menu system better.

PS4 has had just as many technical problems. And they released basement crawl. Read up on that... Coming from x360, I was shocked how a completely nonworking title made it to the store. (there have been other glitches, server down, etc). But in the end,
nothing that hasn't been dealt with.

Ps4 - the arcade titles and free games on it have in fact been great fun. It doesnt have a Forza like game, it doesnt have TF. My two favorite games. But for simple fun, it has much better titles. I have played and enjoyed Resogun (great simple arcade
title), outlast, don't starve, dead nation, all freebies. The x1 arcade seems ummm... meh. I do expect X1 to improve that though, eventually. However PS4 free games are nice.

If you have any interest in a PS VITA hand held, go ps4. I have a friend that has Vita and when he is putting the kids to bed, he can be on the vita and play and party chat with me. However, it does have some weird technical irregularities. (and more free
    games)

there is voice messaging on the PS4... ummm hello MS?

Some people say PS4 is the best gaming, well, if I wanted purely best gaming I would stick with my PC, I would beat I have more power from video than both entire consoles together. So experience matters to me. And I prefer the X1 interface, except its attrocious
friends menu (the fix aint all that), no voice messaging, and why friends doesnt snap. Of all the things I would snap. The PS4 interface feels like Win98 top me.

I have COD on both. Yes there are maps where the graphics almost make a difference in gameplay. I ran both games on TV side by side, and honestly in most cases , who cares.

PS4, broadcasting is neat. You can take screenshots and send them as attachments to friends. Hmmm, yeah nice. I dont go social outside the console, so having that inside the system OS is nice.

So to date, I personalyl have come away with both systems are just okay and have glaring holes still.

Oh yeah, I almost always end up muting everyone in COD games on the PS4. The voice sound is attrocious, and more so in COD on ps4 than other games , but even in other games it can have a lot of just "extra noise". The X1 has far far far less of that.

That said, my hand does cramp more on the X1 controller in COD. I have big hands, and have issues with the new X1 Controller. For me the x360 was the best. The X1, gives my right hand fits (they changed the grip). The PS4 controller actaully holds very similar
to the 360. While it looks nothing like it, the way it is shaped and grips is close. Of course sticks are different.

Anyway, the whole point, owning both for 4 or 5 months, I really only need one, and I would still be hard pressed to decide. For major titles so far, X1 has TF and Forza and I like them both better than any ps4. However Ps4 has more fun small games.

I bought the PS4 (coming from X360, no ps3) and was not going to get the X1. I personally wasnt impressed so I got the X1. I was going to sell the PS4, but the X1, well didnt blow the ps4 away. So here I stay with both.

That is a nice honest review for you.

As others have suggested let the exclusives decide which system unless you are going to end up with both. More games than ever will be multi platform though with the systems being closer together than ever, with the same PC architecture. The Xbox has been
slower to get up to speed performance wise but the SDK updates and DX12 should be correcting that.

As for storage you can probably hold 10-20 games at any given time. Which is absolutely plenty for me, even if I wanted more than that at once it only takes 15min planning ahead and you can play before install finishes. Saying that digital wise I have a
decent fibre connection so downloads are as quick as disc, but all internet connections will be the same soon. And you can use the decent switching of apps to do something else in the meantime.

I would say you would get a biased view on the Xbox forums but actually there are as many PS4 owners hanging about on here too.

    @a12Monkeys

Your review is good the only thing I will add is you said you skipped PS3. when I first got my PS3 after playing Xbox og and Xbox 360 it took me a long time to adjust to the system it's becuase I was so used to the Xbox way of doing things.

Thats why you feel like the OS is clumsy it takes some getting used to it's not Xbox. After I got used to it I like it better now.

I see the future more in the One than PS4, but to be fair, PS Now is a great concept and I really hope the One does something like that because renting games digitally is the future. Like said before, each console has its pros and cons, even with a great
game like Titanfall, it's still hard to say which one holds the most promise. The $100 price difference was and continues to be the slight edge for PS4, no matter how you look at it. MS might be in desperation mode to sell more consoles with Titanfall being
bundled for free, but it's nothing to worry about. The One and PS4 are still equally matched despite price and resolution issues... Those things will be fixed over time. It all comes down to games, and yes, right now.. Xbox is the way to go. I'm a shooter
fan, so with the One having both Titanfall and Halo... My personal choice was easy. It's the little things like the feel of the menu, the controller that I like about the Xbox One... I don't get that same satisfaction with having played the PS4. The choice
is yours but please wait if you're not sure. Everybody likes different things and hopefully by the end of the year you'll maybe know which one is for you.

a12Monkeys is almost spot-on about how I feel about both consoles, though I would lean towards the X1 controller nudging out the PS4 controller. For storage I have quite a few apps installed, as well as Forza 5, Killer Instinct, and Titanfall; I still have
307.1Gbs free, and don't see space becoming a issue in the near future.

Kinect is GREAT for what I use it for; voice control, Skype (I don't Skype that much, but it blows the camera away on both my P.C.s.). Maybe a boxing game would change my mind about Kinect for gaming.

When this generation of systems was first announced, I was leaning heavily in Sony s favor. As it progressed up to launch, buying a X1 for just exclusives seemed the way to go. Now that I've had time with both? X1 is looking to be my primary console for
    multi-platform.

Still bugs in both systems, though I feel X1 will shine in the coming years.

    Peace, J.R.

What exact error message/code are you getting when you attempt to add your custom gamerpic?

If you've incorrectly set your birthdate when you first created your account, then it might have something to do with this problem if you're getting error messages about being underage. If that's the case, try contacting Xbox Support (phone or chat) and
