    Can't chat when game is streamed to my desktop via Xbox App


    When I'm in a party on my Xbox One, if I begin to stream a game I'm playing on my Xbox to my desktop PC via the Xbox App - I'm no longer able to hear anyone in the party and they can't hear me.

    If i stop streaming the game on my desktop - I can hear everyone and they can hear me. This is when I'm streaming the game - not even recording.

    Sorry, but it is not currently possible to upload console-streamed game videos. When you record a streamed game, the GameDVR video is associated with the Xbox app, not with the streamed game (because the recording feature doesn't know you are streaming or
    what you are streaming). Consequently it cannot be uploaded (Xbox Live knows that the Xbox app is not a game).

    I saw your post in the other thread about this. Which version of the Xbox app are you using? If you're not using the Xbox (beta) app, can you try downloading it and see if this reproduces? If this is still happening, please submit feedback by opening the
    menu in the top left corner and selecting Feedback.

    Noooo. Let me explain it better.

    I stream with my Elgato, obviously that means no Xbone twitch app streaming... HOWEVER, this also means I can't view the Twitch chat straight from my game screen...which sucks.-

    I was just curious if there were any plans to make your own twitch chat viewable via the app without streaming from the app?

    Ea play games on pc with xbox cloud streaming

    i took it as he wants to play the game on pc via gamepass ultimate not stream it. yes to streaming from console to pc but whats the point of that when he has a console to play it on and it would run like trash streaming.

    the game is not available on pc therefore cannot download it via gamepass ultimate from ea desktop app either.

    Could it be so slow because I'm using the XBONEX via streaming? The W10 Xbox App was minimized for a while and when I restored it, I briefly saw a download rate of about 80MBps. When I restored the app the speed went back down to 1.5MBps.

    My internal network is all wired and 1GBps, so that's definitely not the issue. Could it be the XBOX app is the root cause for this? Can't see why because the streaming rate is 3MBps, but it does seem odd. When streaming games via Xbox app, I get in excess
    of 20MBps though. Microsoft?
