    Can't change xbox privacy settings because of family group


    why does microsoft automaticaly place me into a family group and even better, why was removed the option of leaving, the 3 dots where previously according to videos had the option to leave, now i can't do nothing. Basically i recently bought a game that now limits my full game experience because of the parental control, tried everything and im stuck. Help

    I've cleared the cookies, cache, and used it on two other devices, and every time I go to account.xbox.com it gives me a page on privacy settings and how I can't change them because I'm in a family group, and I'm not in a family group.

    Did you try to sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/family/ ?

    Can you send me a screenshot of your account on the webpage above showing that you're not on a Family Group?

    Because if you're not on a Family Group, you should be able to change your privacy settings and shouldn't receive the "why can’t I change my privacy settings?" message.

    You can't leave a family group because you have a child account, the only ones that can see the 3 dots you mentioned are family organizers, but adults on the family have the button as you will see in the picture
