Can't change xbox email

When I set up my xbox account about 5 years ago I used my mother's microsoft account to create it. I want to change my email that is tied to my Xbox account without deleting my mother's microsoft account, adding another email/alias will still mean that
she will get emails about Xbox, so this doesn't fix the problem. How can I switch my Xbox account to my email whilst permanently removing my mothers email (and not deleting it)?

Hello Louis,

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We see you have a question on changing email. If her email is a Microsoft domain like outlook, Hotmail, live or MSN then you are unable to remove it completely. If you do it deletes the email entirely. The
one step we have available is changing the primary email on the Microsoft
account. Note: If you choose to remove an alias that uses a Microsoft domain such as @hotmail.com, @outlook.com, or @live.com, that alias will be completely deleted and will not be available
to sign in to any Microsoft services.

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12407/microsoft-account-change-email-phone-number You can't change the email for the Xbox account, but you can change the email for your Microsoft account that is linked to your Xbox account.

You can't change the email linked to the Xbox account without changing the email of the Microsoft account, as the Xbox account it's part of the Microsoft account and the Microsoft account it's the email that has currently linked
