Can't change Xbox 360 region?

I've changed the region accidently over three months ago, during december when I was checking out the xbox profile options. Unfortunately I can't change my options back to Austria like it initially was. I set it to Luxembourg and I can't even access the
games that I bought over Xbox live nor can I benefit from many other services. I want to change it back and even now after three months I can't. I checked the conditions multiple times but it shouldn't infringe with any points mentioned there.

What's the issue with this, I already had a lot of trouble with my old xbox account and I'm fairly unhappy with the lackluster xbox support. Any suggestions?

Can't change 360 region

I recently moved to the U.S. and now want to buy some 360 (mostly backwards compatible) games but it only lets me buy them in my previous currency EUR, as I'm originally from Germany. I tried the Xbox 360 account migration website to change the 360 region
to United States but it won't work it always gives me this error "There’s a problem completing your move right now. Please check the Region Change Support Page to make sure it will work for you, and try again later" and I don't know why?? I've spent my last
2 hours searching on Google for people with the same problem but every answer I can see is "you have to wait 90 days to change it again". First of all, I have never migrated my account to any country so please keep these type of comments to yourself as it
clearly can't be the cause. I messaged the Xbox support a few weeks ago and even they don't know what could cause the problem. I don't have any unpaid bills or remaining Euro balance on my account. I even asked the support team to cancel my prepaid 6 months
gold subscription believing it would work then (guess what, it didn't). The last thing which could cause the error is that maybe I'm a minor in the U.S.? I'm 18 years old I know I'm not able to buy alcohol or tobacco but I think buying video games of every
type is allowed right?

Can anybody help me please?

You'll want to contact suppprt directly. 1-800-4my-xbox or Contact Us | Xbox Support

 

Check the link below for possible reasons as to why you cannot change your region.

If you can't find any info there then you should contact phone support to have them do a manual change for you.

This kind of answer is absolutely useless, don't you think I have checked this several times like I mentioned in the OP?

 

The answer is not useless,it's spot on.

You can't "accidently" change your region either as you have to verify you want the region change several times.

 

That doesn't change the fact that I can't change my region even after three months, I've checked the link of Onyx a million times already and it doesn't help. I'll contact the hotline soon.

I've contacted the support and it was very helpful. For once the support actually helped me a lot. I apologize for being rude, this issue has been bothering me quite a while now.

 

No worries. I understand that sometimes things get a little frustrating. The top portion of the link I provided gave possible reasons as to why you might not be able to change reasons. Phone support is always a good back up option.
