Cant change username for no apparent reason?

If a name isn't allowed adding numbers without removing the offence will only lead to forcenane change in the future if reported

Unfortunately when the system doesn’t let you choose the desired username is not possible to do something about it
You can try adding a number at the end or changing the gamertag a bit to see if the system allows you to use the desired gamertag

Please note that this can’t be bypassed

You would have been given a forced name change because your gamertag violated the code of conduct. To get an official answer as to why, you will need to post here -

You will not be able to get the name back and you will have to pay in order to change your tag to something else.

The issue is that that the username is mine. I've had this username for years. I haven't changed it ever. Up till just before I migrated, I had that username. When I migrated, I now apparently don't. No one else should be able to have got it.
