Can't Change through OneGuide

    Can't Change through OneGuide


    I just got an Xbox One I connected it to the cable box Everything is perfect but It will not let me change the channel through Oneguide or control it using smartglass at all is there anyway I can fix this?

    OneGuide not allowing non-TV devices to work with it anymore?

    I used to use my Nintendo Switch in the OneGuide app, and play it through my Xbox, as I don't have any more HDMI ports on my TV. After the update, it seems I can't use any devices that aren't TV boxes to pass through the OneGuide. Is there a way to still
    use non-TV devises with OneGuide or the Xbox?

    Certain Samsung TV's incompatible

    As I go through the setup I only hear sound. But when I press skip, everything is fine. But because I can't go through the set up I can't set up the OneGuide.

    Hey macduck92, sorry about your issues.

    Do you have a Kinect or an IR extension cable that allows you to control your TV or Cable box? If so, does it have line of sight to the device?

    The entire channel lineup is wrong.

    Hey everyone, this same problem just happened to me where my cable provider changed the channel lineup but my xbox was still using the old channel numbers but i found how to fix it. Go to settings ---> tv&oneguide ---> oneguide---> clear oneguide ---> then
    last still in oneguide go to tv lineup and go through that again. That fixed it for me.

    Same.

    Full reset, now it wont even allow me to set up the TV tuner. After entering my ZIP code, it just says "We can't find your TV providers".

    I get this message under both Settings > TV & OneGuide > OneGuide > USB TV Lineup (says "Not set" and can't set it) and Settings > TV & OneGuide > TV Tuner (says "Complete" but can't change it.)
