Can't change sons settings

I can't change my sons settings from the privacy & settings screen, i can only see my name, his acount does not show up. mWhat can i do about this?

Add Child that has gold

My son has a gold membership, but can't get access to online content; says a parent has to change settings but can't find how to do it...any help would be appreciated.

joining clubs

When my son tries to join a club it says "can't join because child account go to privacy & online settings to change". I (parent) have gone into my account to check his settings....it's already set to allow him to join clubs, but he still can't...any ideas?

Hello there!

In order to change your son's online settings, you need to first make sure that his child account is added to Microsoft family with an adult account managing its settings.

if you are trying to download demos or videos of any M or RP (ratings pending) content you will not be able to on a child account, it does not matter what settings are changed or allowed. full games yes, demos/videos, no, not until the account is promoted
to an adult account and that cannot be done until the age of the account is 18.

Once age has been set it can't be changed. Your son is too young to be on facebook.

be sure to allow the User Created content option at
http://account.xbox.com/settings

option to for your Son's account. Since you are receiving an error please also try to see what happens via a different browser.

After the setting was changed without any errors showing please have his account sign in again and see if the game will allow his account to play.
