    Can't change privacy & online settings, can't purchase anything


    So on my Xbox one I can't buy anything, only free content. It always tells me to change my privacy & online settings and it doesn't even let me. Even though I can get free content I can't even download my old minecraft skins for free. I'm able to purchase
    anything on my Xbox 360 but it doesn't work for Xbox one

    Sea of thieves Cant play it since i have to change my settings which are already changed

    I have the same problem. Bought and downloaded from the Windows10 store but, when I launch the game I get this error message: "Change your settings to play. You can't play multiplayer games because of how your account is setup. Go to your privacy & online
    safety settings on xbox.com to change this." I've looked at all privacy & online settings, can't seem to fix this issue.

    WHY?

    You have to change your Privacy settings in Xbox. Click on your profile & click Xbox settings then go to Privacy but I can't seem to go onto the Online safety option.

    You could also try changing your privacy settings to friends only. That way he can't see when you are online or anything.

    I'm sorry to hear that. To be honest with you, looks like the system is detecting that you own a child account as you won't be able to see the page if it's considered as child.

    If it's not considered as adult, you really need to add your account to a family account so you can change the settings. Here's how to add your account under a family account.
