Can't Change Parent On Child Account + Countless More Issues

Xbox Live has to be the most *** thing ever created. You have NO idea how many things have gone wrong just from trying to give Microsoft my $10 . Microsoft, do you want my $10 or not because whenever I try to buy Xbox Live Gold for a month it NEVER works.
Problem after problem after bloody problem and I'm getting so sick of it. Did they purposely hire the most stupid people on the planet to create Xbox Live? Enough ranting, here's my issue and Microsoft better hope this gets fixed. Four years ago, I made an
Xbox Live account by the name of Matrix 889. I've had so many good times but this year when ever I try to buy a month of Gold literally everything goes wrong. I would have posted on the forums by that name but noo, apparently I'm too young to ask for help.
On the Xbox, when I go to buy it, I choose 1 month, push A on purchase and it brings me back to chooosing what membership I want. Uhh...isn't a message saying ai bought it meant to happen? I put in Halo 3 to check thst I have Gold now but nope. Finding it
odd that I didn't get an error message of any kind I try again thinking it was a one off glitch but same issue. I go into privacy settings and family settings and everything is set to allowed including the most important thing, being able to purchase. I've
literally tried 20 times (oh yeah, i counted) but same stupid issue. I go on the computer to do it instead but instead I finally get an error message saying that family settings are blocking me from being able to puchase things. I checked on my parent account
and my account and it all says allowed. I tried 13 times on that. Now I go to support and they tell me to unblock it despite me telling them that I already have. Skipping a lot of pointless conversation and talking to them for THREE whole hours, in the end
nothing was solved. I decided to sleep and fix it in the morning (now today). So I can't contact support again because it's a Sunday which is rather unhelpful. I google the issues I'm having and guess what, I saw a guy have the same issue from 2007!!! the
problem has been around since 2007 and they still haven't fixed it. Do you understand how bloody rediculous that is? Shows how much Microsoft cares, or to be precise, doesn't care. I finally decide to change my parent hoping that it will reset everything and
I use this account as my parent except at e very end after putting in all these stupid details about my account, my credit card and all this crap I get an error message saying something like "Xbox Live service is unavailable, try again later". I googled that
again and I saw a guy from 2009 have the same issue (again, are you serious Microsoft?) and no fix. He had it for three weeks now, I thought I could wait it out but no because checking the service and the service is fine apparently. I saw a responce from a
Microsoft employee basically saying that the gamertag is stuffed and that he needs to make a new Xbox Live account. This is what made me go crazy. I've bought heaps of games online, spent four years on my gamerscore and progress on countless amount of games
for nothing? Also, even if I were to accept that (which I won't because I bet they do it on purpose to get more money) I can't anyway because gmail won't let me make any more email accounts. This is crazy. I would have quit Xbox ages ago but my PC sucks and
I don't feel like spending a thousand dollars or more every four years to keep up and I just dislike Playstation despite the amount of things better than Xbox (free online is a major thing). So I'm stuck with a broken gamertag thst can't be fixed and heaps
of money wasted. All I want to do is give them $10 to play online and enjoy my weekend but now I've spent my weekend trying to get this working all for nothing. Thanks Microsoft, due to your utterly crap system I've wasted my weekend for nothing. I've also
looked for hours for help on the issue and I'mve found a billion people who have the same issue yet only a few people have resolved the issue and no fixes work for me. Please help. I don't want all of this to be wasted for nothing. I also want Xbox One so
I can play the Master Chief collection. i am desperate. Sorry this was huge, I just wanted to explain how much I hate Microsoft and why they're the biggest money grabbers ever. I could go on forever about the amount of issues I've had on Xbox Live and other
products Microsoft makes but I don't want to waste any mor eof my time or your time. I really need help and if nothing resolves the issue I swear Microsoft are getting something their way.

Family+ privacy setting issues

When you go to Sign in to your Microsoft account are you able to change your settings, or do you get instructions on how to add your child account to an adult account?

If you get the child account message, have your parents add you to their family at
Microsoft account | Your family and then make the necessary changes to your account at
Sign in to your Microsoft account while signed in with their parent account.

 

how to add child to xbox live without a console so that minecraft realms work?

We're trying to use Minecraft PE to connect to a realm. The child account was created from Minecraft PE on iOS, the account appears under the parent Microsoft account family, but does not appear under the Parent Xbox Live family.

The child was successfully invited to a realm created by the parent, but when the child tries to connect, gets the message "You cannot play on Realms because of how your Xbox Live account is set up. This can be changed in your privacy & online safety settings
on Xbox.com".

However, the child can't change those settings, the parent needs to, but the parent can only change them from the Xbox account view (where, in this case, the child does not show up).

We do not have an Xbox console. We just want to play MInecraft with family and friends on a realm.

Microsoft support says there's no way to add the child without an Xbox console. I wonder why Minecraft PE walked us through creating a child account in the first place?

 

Just a quick question. You say you have a credit card but also have a parent account. How old are you? If you are under 18 then you would need to have a parental account attached to the gamertag. If you are older then why not try promoting your gamertag
to adult. Remember that the birthdate you entered when creating the account is what it goes by and cannot be changed.

The best option for a parental account's email would be to use a hotmail address. However, if you are continually having issues with the account then you would need to speak solely with phone support. If you are in North America then they should be open
today to speak with.
