Can't Change Old E-Mail

I keep getting Xbox Live Reward e-mails to my old e-mail address even though I've switched my account to my new e-mail address, and removed all trace (that I can find) of my old e-mail address.

How do I get these e-mails switched to the new address?

Wrong E-mail on Account!!

I have changed my E-mail address but it still say that my e-mail is my old one.

Why can't i change my E-mail when i actually did it a wile back?

And it's really pisses me off!!!

I want to buy some MP but can't get in because of E-mail Is the wrong one.

The confirmation code is sent to my old E-mail address.

Help me fast before the time on the item i want goes out from sale!

Changing email addresses

Hi there Hornet, here are a few tips I can think of:

First off, try to remember the Email and Password of the old account.

If you cannot, go to account.live.com and click 'Can't access your account?'. I'm assuming since you want to change the e-mail to the old one, you can still access the e-mail.

Then, use a different e-mail that is not linked to a Windows LIVE ID (after you've completed the recovery steps) and set it to that.

Then, on your primary account (which you want to change to the old e-mail), just change it to your old e-mail, and that should be all

We use your billing email for Xbox Live Rewards emails. We see that currently your billing email is different than your personal email, which is why you may be receiving emails at an unexpected address. You can reach this information from your Microsoft
Account at (https://account.microsoft.com/billing/addresses?ref=amcyourinfo#/). Keep in mind that it can take 96 hours for us to receive and process new information, so you may
see emails to your old address while we process your updated email address, if you have only recently changed this information.

Start by changing the e-mail on your old account to a different e-mail address. That will free up the e-mail address from the old account so that it can be used on your new account.

If you have changed your e-mail since May it could be in your old e-mail...

So what you did was change the sign in e-mail, not the login e-mail. The log in e-mail still uses the old address. You can change his Microsoft Account using the steps here:

support.xbox.com/.../switch-gamertag-to-different-microsoft-account

However to do that you will need to use a different e-mail as you can't have 2 gamertags on the same e-mail.
