    Can't change my username without xbox


    I have two accounts, one very old and inactive and another is active.

    So, I wan't to use the nickname, (or user tag) from the first account on the second. But I can't change it without xbox.

    Is it possible to change it anyway somehow?

    Can you change to "neovladusya" or "Vladyslav87"

    I tried to change it via the tag, but writes only for money (

    but I never changed

    and because of a space in the username can't play with friends (

    its bugs xbox not mine !!

    and the region is Russia, change to Ukraine !!! Can't attach a Bank card

    No, unfortunately. Perhaps you can log on another Xbox to do the name change. In addition, you'd need to pay twice for what you're trying to do, unless you use a variation of the original name.

    I have no idea where my account name came from or how to change it...is "OrphanRacer5192" some kind of default name??

    Yeap, @dase74. But for the first time you can change it easily and for free. Just think twice which nickname you really want to use.

    I'm glad that it is working now! It's possible that there is a bit delay with the sync on the Xbox Live Server.

    Kindly confirm the transaction for the Gamertag change. Sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders, from there make sure that the free gamer tag change is showing as "completed".

    Then check if you're able to change your gamer tag for free on social.xbox.com

    Note: Do not proceed with the gamer tag change if it asks you for a fee.

    Try to sign in to account.xbox.com to see if your new gamer tag is showing on your account.
