Can't change my privacy settings on PC

I just bought SOD 2 and wanted to go online to see that my gamertag had changed and that my account had been restricted from online play. Now i have to wait one month to change my privacy and online settings .

Both replies above our great. Personally I use the Xbox website as it was easier to navigate the privacy piece. This was just a personal preference but it was easy to click on your name on the right, then Xbox Settings, and Privacy was one of the main
options. The friends options was under the tab for Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Safety at the bottom.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. In addition to the great steps above, there is an option to visit the

Xbox Settings website in order to change the privacy settings. Once at the website, select the "Privacy & Online Safety" option. Make sure to update the settings for all platforms. Be sure to let us know the results!

This sounds as though you have requested change in security proofs s or you haven't used your account in a ling time. However, I am not sure which one.

Please can you tell me if you have signed into your Account on the PC during the last year?

To go along with what SunkNath said i also understand from what your saying is that your gamertag has changed also?

Are you sure that you are signed into the same account online as on your xbox?

You can check what email is associated with your gamer tag on the console by signing into your account going to settings and under the account tab go to sign in security and passkey and it will tell you the email associated with the account.

This is because you're underage or used the wrong age when setting up the account, Unfortunately once an age is set it's permanent. While the system will let you change the age anytime, It only recognizes the age you used when you set up the account. This
is to prevent kids from just changing their ages to bypass things. You will need your parents help or you will have to send in an age change request form and see what they say.

I have had my account for ~8 years, but I still do think it's odd that back then I could play multiplayer no problem, but NOW I can't.
