    Cant change my childs gamer picture on xbox to a custom one? WHY?


    this is really ignorant to not let a parent change their kids gamer picture to a custom picture. its getting QC'd by me AND you so why is this not allowed but they get to chose from the 200 M rated game ones? makes no sense. this needs to be changed asap. if not the an actual excuse as to why you cant. if its because you can only change it on the app then make it where the parents can change it from the parental profile and upload from an actual PC which is mindboggling that you cant change it like that in the first place.
    come one guys. my kids want their own pics from things they like not the trash defaults you guys have had for the past 30years...

    Hey AwsomeGuy174, You cant upload a custom gamer picture at this moment because it has been temporarily disabled due to reduce server stress. You should be able to change it to the pictures microsoft already has.

    Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. We understand that you are getting an error when you try changing your gamer picture. Are you trying to use a custom image? The ability to change your gamer picture to a customer image is currently disabled.

    Trouble with gamer pic

    is there a reason i cant change my gamer pic? I was temp banned on my main account, but im not sure if that has a cause in why i cant change it. I have my other account and i also cannot change the gamer picture even though i didnt get reported or anything
    like that. I dont know why its doing this, and if anyone has a possible solution, lemme know. I am above the age of 18, so that also cant be why.
    Try to change your profile picture here on the Xbox Website, if it doesn't change try contact the support for more information

    All Childs xbox world set up on parents microsoft account

    Unfortunately there is no way to transfer game data between accounts.

    Yes with child accounts there are restrictions like not being able to set custom gamer pics which basically means he would not be able to take a picture with say his phone upload it to his console and set it as his gamer pic. Microsoft does have regular
    pictures that he can choose from to change it to he would just not be able to change it to a custom picture.

    Hi I doubt they will ever allow custom pictures for child accounts. It is a safety thing, ensures your child can't put a photo of themselves up (which could attract grooming) or using images that are unsuitable (drugs related, gun related, no copyrights)

    These are just a few examples as to why custom gamer pics are locked for child accounts
