    Can’t Change Location in Xbox Payment Options


    I have been trying to change the payment options on my xbox 360.

    Seems straight forward but it only offers me US options for location.

    I am in Australia. The xbox is set up with AU location.

    But apparently no option to change payment location.

    I have noticed my xbox ios app believes I am in US. It looks like I can edit that but if I select any other country it always reverts to US.

    How do I fix this?

    I have checked and my microsft account is in AU.

    To change the payment card associated with your Xbox account, you can follow these steps:

    Turn on your Xbox console or open the Xbox app on your device.

    Sign in to your Xbox Live account with the appropriate credentials.

    Navigate to the "Settings" or "Account" tab, which is usually located at the top right of the screen.

    Look for the "Payment Methods" or "Payment and Billing" option. This option may be located in different places depending on the version of the console or Xbox app you are using.

    Select the "Add new payment method" or "Change payment method" option to enter the new card information.

    You will then have the option to enter your new payment card information, which will include the card number, expiration date, and security code.

    Once you've entered your new card information, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the payment change process.

    Sorry to hear about your troubles! From the Xbox Support pages:

    Can’t remove a payment option?

    Important You can’t remove a credit card that is associated with an active Xbox LIVE membership. If you try to remove the credit card associated with an active Xbox LIVE membership, you will be prompted to add a new payment option for your membership.

    If you don’t want to add another payment method, contact Xbox Support for help removing your payment method. Please have your gamertag and payment information available.
