    Hi all,

    I am having an issue with changing my gamertag. Firstly I don't believe I have ever changed it before, but xbox.com is looking to charge me for the change.

    I can navigate my way through the change process, but fall down when I put my credit card details in.

    The form will not allow me to change the region from United States to Australia even though my profile is set to Australia. I tried a shame US address, but even that wouldn't work.

    I then tried to migrate my account region to Australia to see if that works and am told that I have already migrated my account in the last 12 months - which I have not!

    Wish I could say that this was an isolated incident, but this sums up my experience every time I rub up against a Microsoft web page - 5 minute job becomes hours of frustration.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Serious problem with region setting and unable to amend

    You have to.say split billing

    Due to the region change meaning the region change didn't go thru completelh

    On the very bottom left hand corner of the screen, make sure it's set for Australia.

    About the charge, the free change is only available if you were given a randomly generated gamertag when you created your account and are changing that tag for the first time. If you chose your gamertag when you signed up, then you've technically already
    used your free change.

    Thank you so very much, I have been at this for hours! I saw the English US down the bottom but thought well English is English and didn't try to change it........bother........so everyone in Australia, change it to English Australian.
