Cant change gamerpic even though adult account

Did you recently change from an child account to an adult account? If so, you will need to sign-out and sign back in again for the setting to take affect.

It's only custom gamer pics that can't be added without it being an adult account.

In regards to the Custom Gamerpic, your account would need to be an adult account, not just set to adult defaults under your Privacy and online safety.

As stated in the support article for
Changing your Xbox One gamerpic, Custom images are only available for adult Microsoft accounts. So if your account has a child DOB on it you won't be allowed to change it until the account is graduated to an adult account.

Hi there, When I first got the account, it was et to a adult account with the year as '90

Another point worth stating is, changing your account to Adult doesn't actually make it adult. The Xbox will still go off the original date of birth entered and therefore see the account as a child one.

So even once the system has been enabled again, the OP won't be able to change gamerpic.

Gamerpics are only available for Adult accounts. If you created your account as a Child account there would be no way to add a Gamerpic until your account is automatically graduated to an Adult account. For more information go ahead and follow this
