Can't change childs settings cause Adults is banned!

I can't live stream or download certain games due to my childs account settings not being able to edit cause the adults account is banned. I have no clie why my adult account was banned, but it was banned atleast 4 years ago. It hasn't been a problem since
I put $60 on the account and coukdn't spend it and since Ive wanted to stream to show my friends stuff. I called Microsoft Support and they said pist on the forums for possible unbanning or help.

I can't change my Privacy settings.

The account receiving the error is the actual adult account? or is the child account? child accounts can't change privacy settings.

There is absolutely nothing anyone in the forums can do to help you with this issue. Any ban issues are handled by the enforcement team and any account issues are handled by support.

Since the ban was 4 years ago then support would be the next logical choice. Unfortunately, users get the wrong information from support all the time as support really don't know how the forums work and if they are not sure about a situation they will forward
the user to the forums.

Only an adult (parental account) can make the changes in privacy settings for a child account. The child account can't perform the changes itself.

You can't exactly change a child account to an adult account until the child has actually turned 18. However, you can change their permissions. You need to log into the adult account, and under family settings, you can change the permissions of your child's
account.

I can't remember 100% but I am sure whoever set up the child account can change it. Like if you made an adult account on the xbox before making the child account that adult account can change wether the child account is a child account or and adult one.
I will just test this out myself now and post how it went
