Can't Change Cable Channel Through OneGuide

Hello, I have an Xbox One, and I can watch my Cable TV through it fine, but I cannot change the channel through the OneGuide, I am forced to use my Rogers Cable remote. And if I go into
Settings > TV & OneGuide > Devices it doesn't have a button for "Cable box model" or something like that, and I have seen that that should be there. I did contact Xbox support and we did unplug and replug my Xbox One, it didn't fix the problem,
I also went into Settings > Network > Advanced Settings > Alternate MAC Address > Clear > Restart
and that didn't fix the problem either. It is not a terrible inconvenience, but it would just be that much easier to control everything through One controller and console. A last resort option would be to goto
Settings > System > Restore Factory Defaults because I would have to reinstall and setup everything over again.

And my Cable Service Provider is Rogers

And my Cable Box Company is Cisco

Hope you can fix this.

Two OneGuide Issues

1. I have Comcast/Xfnity none of the line ups for my zip code or surrounding zip codes match the actual line up on the cable box, so when OneGuide changes the channel it's the wrong channel. For example Oneguide says FOX is channel 5 but it's actually 7
on the cable box.

2. I have HD service when the OneGuide changes 3 digit channels only the first 2 numbers are accepted and I have gone to the advanced settings and changed the speed.

Any Ideas?

Parts of Channel Lineups have changed. OneGuide/Xbox doesn't recognize the change.

Within the last week my cable provider (Charter Communications) went digital and changed some of their channels. Oneguide still displays the channel lineups at their previous channels. For instance, when I say "Xbox watch ESPN" the channel changes to 773
as shown on Oneguide to be ESPN. However, ESPN has changed to channel 818 as shown in the TV listing guide.

I've already tried clearing Oneguide, clearing history, as well as resetting the cable box. Please let me know what can be done to fix this.

Hey everyone, this same problem just happened to me where my cable provider changed the channel lineup but my xbox was still using the old channel numbers but i found how to fix it. Go to settings ---> tv&oneguide ---> oneguide---> clear oneguide ---> then
last still in oneguide go to tv lineup and go through that again. That fixed it for me.

I have a Cisco 4742HDC with Cox and it works fine except any time i change channels through oneguide it brings up a show details window on the cable box that takes up most of the screen. It can only be closed by using the cable boxes remote.

I think the problem with reporting the "wrong number" for a channel number through "OneGuide settings -> Troubleshooting -> Report a OneGuide Problem" is that the lineup doesn't get reviewed because the number reported for the channel actually is correct
in the guide! For example, when I report that ESPN is a "wrong number" and should be on 850, well....it does show on 850 in OneGuide. So I'm assuming this doesn't trigger a full lineup review. The problem is that OneGuide ALSO shows it on 252 (here in Richmond).
252 is now defunct and doesn't exist as a channel via Comcast. So when we say "XBOX watch ESPN" it seems like it must internally grab the lowest channel number it can find for that HD channel and then try to change the cable box channel number to that.

So reporting a wrong channel number by giving an example doesn't seem to really work because the one we give is correct and already in the guide. The problem is that there is an "extra" channel number in the guide for a channel like ESPN and it's the extra
channel that is wrong--it shouldn't exist as any channel, period. There's no way to report this fallacy through the interface.

Another odd thing, is that the xbox remote doesn't work to change channels. I can pull up the OneGuide through the remote, then select a channel, and it just acts as if nothing happens and stays on the same channel I'm on. Odd
