Can't cancel or see "microsoft gaming subscription"

I understand how confusion the multiple options of subscriptions can also be. With that being said, I wanted to drop one more link for you that explains the differences through the multiple subscriptions available. If you're playing on PC, it's possible that an Xbox Game Pass subscription on console was purchased or a standard Xbox Live Gold subscription. To access the library of Game Pass games on PC, Game Pass Ultimate or Xbox Game Pass for PC are available.

Far as I know, you can't gift Game Pass Ultimate if bought through Microsoft as it's a subscription so it gets applied to your account. Check the Subscriptions part of your account and see if it's showing there...if so, you'd need to cancel and, hopefully, there's a refund button

To cancel and stop renewal charges for any Xbox subscription, such as an Xbox Live Gold subscription, an Xbox Game Pass, or EA Access, you need to do so online.

Important

• You can’t cancel an Xbox subscription if it’s past due or suspended. You must pay the past-due balance before you can cancel or turn off auto renewal. For more info, see

• If you have a prepaid subscription, you won’t see the Cancel or

How to cancel your Xbox subscription online

You can cancel your Xbox subscription either immediately or by stopping automatic renewal. If you cancel immediately, you’ll also lose access to the subscription service at the same time. If you stop automatically renewing your subscription, you can continue
to use the service until it expires.

I already canceled my Xbox subscription, but I was still charged for it

If you were charged after you canceled your Xbox subscription, this likely indicates you had a pending balance for the current subscription time when you turned off auto renewal. If you canceled the subscription, you won't be charged again.

I don't see any option to cancel my Xbox subscription when I sign in.

If you sign in to your Microsoft account and see an option to Renew but not to
Cancel, you've already turned off auto renewal and won't receive additional charges.

If you're paying for another person's Xbox subscription, you can't cancel the subscription. The owner of the Microsoft account must follow the steps in the How to cancel your Xbox subscription online section above to cancel their subscription.

support.xbox.com to get the issue resolved, if any.

You can go to Services & subscriptions @ account.microsoft.com to see your current subscription status.

To cancel your Microsoft subscription:

1. Go to Services & subscriptions, and sign in with the Microsoft account you used when purchasing your subscription.
2. Find your subscription and select Manage. If you see Turn on recurring billing instead of Manage, skip to the Troubleshooting section - otherwise proceed to step 3.
3. On the next page, select Cancel or Upgrade or Cancel, depending on your subscription type.
4. Follow the instructions on the page to proceed with cancellation.
