Can't cancel downloads (Gamepass PC)

    Can't cancel downloads (Gamepass PC)


    I tried to install Gears 4 a few days ago, and also Final Fantasy XV for PC and because of memory leak issues with gamepass PC my OS repeatedly crashed. This was restarting the download from 0 after every restart but also ballooning the total file size making
    the issue progressively worse.

    Anyway, I've given up on trying to install any new games through the store, but now everytime I boot up my PC one if these two games starts auto-downloading (from 0% still) from the Microsoft store. They don't show up on my Gamepass list to cancel or uninstall,
    and cancelling them from the Microsoft store only stops them until I reboot. Because it still caches all 32GB of my RAM if i don't catch it immediately i get another PC crash.

    How can i permanently cancel these downloads and remove the cached files from my system?

    Holding down the power button on your device until it shuts down will clear the cache. Restart the downloads after that.

    I'll advise you resume it and you can uninstall it when the download is done. This is because cancelling it 'might' not remove the downloaded files from your PC and it may be an issue when you try to recover the space.

    When you refunded the Ultimate GamePass you essentially canceled all subscriptions, as UGP is Xbox Live, GamePass for console and PC. You will have to resubscribe to Xbox Live and GamePass again.

    I paid for Xbox game pass for the pc but didn't get it.

    download the xbox app and sign in with your account that has gamepass pc, then download the games from gamepass pc.
