    Can't buy xbox gold on PC because of region issue


    Hi,

    I'm in Australia I've been trying to get xbox gold. Whenever I click on 'join today' from the AU xbox website button it switches over to the US site and asks for my American address (state/province etc.) which I don't have and so cannot complete the order.

    I've investigated my region settings and as far as I can tell it's set to Australia.

    Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

    I want to buy/download Pinball FX2 but I can't find it on the marketplace using directly my console. If I'm searching the xbox live site with my PC I can find it but can't buy, because of an error: It isn't available in my region. Is it any way to fix this?

    Account region: Hungary

    Physical region: Hungary

    Internet Service Provider (ISP): Magyar Telecom PLC

    Let me change my region.

    Because they will lose a customer. I have a PS3 and I won't buy gold if I can't get a gamertag change. I am willing to pay, but because of this region lock I can't put my credit card or use microsoft points.

    I already have to buy everything like themes and gamerpics on an alternate, but this account means a lot to me. I'm surprised that no one can force a region change on my account. I know they can change my gamertag because they do it if there is violations
    so I won't buy gold until this is resolved.

    NVM I just fixed it myself! THere's another region setting I had to change as well. Thanks anyway! Can't buy xbox gold on PC because of region issue :)

    I bought some games correctly before, but recently I can't. Maybe it is because that Xbox one is going to China and MS restrict Chinese IP to protect Chinese x1 selling.

    what a pitty. I don't want to buy x1, especially chinese x1(can't play other region's games). I cancelled xbox live gold member, there is no point of being gold member now that can't buy games.

    First, Games with Gold is not available in China:

    If your region on Xbox one is set to another region that is not where you live that may cause other problems.

    Because you can only buy the PC version as you are in a SEA expansion region for xbox for pc NOT a xbox console region meaning you must use the pc windows 10 marketplace not xbox console market place

    Your only other option is to buy a disk version for series x or xbox one s etc or use it on your pc
