    Can't buy xbox 360 games on xbox one


    I'm trying to redeem a xbox 360 game on xbox live gold deals and when i try to complete the transaction it says that this type of payment can not be done on xbox.com only on the xbox, what have i done wrong?

    You can't play 360 games on the xbox one. you'll have to buy the Xbox one version of the game.

    Error - "your purchase cannot be completed at this time. please try again" while buying a free game.

    Can't buy a xbox 360 game neither on console nor on website. Same error at both places.

    Although able to buy Xbox one games.

    Please help.

    If you're on a child account, you would need to make the purchase from a 360 console.

    Otherwise, make sure you have a credit card or Paypal on file to make the purchase.

    the same account works for both Xbox One and Xbox 360 you shouldn't have any problem buying the game try to buy it from the xbox One and if you can't then try to buy it from the xbox website

    What are you trying to but it with? Credit card? Microsoft credits? Are you on the 360 or Xbox one? If on the Xbox one you can't use Microsoft credit to buy 360 games.
