Can’t buy Xbox 360 game, even with account credit

ive recently had troubles buying an xbox 360 backwards compatible game on the xbox store, i used my credit card, but it said i had no valid options to use. I clicked change payment options and it took me to xbox.com where it wanted me to fill in some credit
card information where i filled every thing out completely and made sure it was valid around 4 times, i read in the forums and found a thread where an ambassador said you require account credit, (i think this is what it was called) and i bought a card and
put money into my account, just over enough to buy the game and then i triedto buy it again it hit me with the exact same thing as before, dont have the valid payment options, so now i have come here looking for some help.

Account credit only works if you are making the purchase from a 360 console. You can only use a credit card or Paypal on a One to purchae backwards compatible content and you have to be on an adult account.If it's not recognizing your credit card, you'll

In xbox 360 doesnt ask for credit card, but in xbox one or in the website you will need a credit card to buy any xbox 360 game, even the ones in GWG.

To buy an Xbox 360 game with account credit, you'll need to use an Xbox 360 console.

It's actually nothing to do with the publisher.

There is currently no way to buy xbox 360 games on the xbox one or PC unless you use a credit/debit card or paypal.

To use money in your microsoft account you have to buy it using an actual xbox 360.

Do you have a friend who still has an xbox 360?

You could download your profile to that console, buy the game with your microsoft credits then delete your account off it.

You don't even have to wait for the game to finish downloading. Once you've bought it on the 360 it will be ready to install on the xbox one.

At the moment you have to use a credit/debit card or paypal to buy 360 bc games on your xbox one or on xbox.com.
