cant buy things on dont starve together

when i try to buy something from the shop in dont starve together, it says "you cannot buy or download because of how your account is set up". But when i use another account or try to buy something in another game it lets me. I also checked my privacy
settings but there was nothing stopping me from buying stuff on it.

Thanks for the update. What have you tried so far in terms of troubleshooting? have you tried removing your profile from the console and then redownloading it? Toggling any of your security settings? For example, going in and setting yourself as a child,
and then back to an adult.

How about reinstalling the game?

Let us know what you've tried so we don't repeat any steps

Check if you have registered an adult account 18+ of age. If you have registered a child account you can get that error.

i've tried reinstalling, checking the privacy settings, hard restarting and none of them seem to work, i also couldn't find anyone else with this problem on the klei fourms

It could just be an error in the game , you should check their fourms to see if anyone else has the problem , also do a hard restart just to be safe

it could be the error in the game if that doesn't work go to the game in the store go down to related an it should be there for you to buy in the store.
