Can't buy something even when I clearly have the money on my account

I'm trying to buy the xbox game pass that is $1, and I have $1.25 on my account from the microsoft rewards. But its asking me "how do I want to pay the rest?" Like, its $1 and not $9.99. Also, It doesn't have to charge me when the 3 months are over. It should
just end. Maybe receiving a email saying your xbox game pass has ended or something. Not asking "How do I want to pay the rest" If I don't have any credit card or paypal account with a credit card on it. I need some help or ideas on how I can get this xbox
game pass because it worked for me for the free trial before but not the $1 one.

You have to add a payment method. It's a requirement.

But let me tell you something, my fella

You can add a PayPal account for your payment method, and try again. So, just create a PP account, they are free and you can use any CC/DC/PpC in it.

That might be because the total cost $1 per taxes and that total cost might be more than $1.25 you've on your accocunt.

Just to add on, $.25 would not cover applicable taxes as well.

This is normal as the game pass is an service that you subscribe too. For that you always get the question how it should be payed the next time. Just select an option. After you made the purchase you can turn off the auto renewal.
