    Can't buy minecraft add-ons


    Hi, I'm trying to buy minecraft skin and texture packs but everytime I click to the final screen, the payment changes to $. My account settings are set to UK. This was on my PC. So also tried doing it directly through my xbox console and it says something
    like 'account linked to different user (or something). Change accounts'. Anyone have any ideas as microsoft chat are refusing to respond.

    Minecraft Add-Ons

    Is there a way to transfer your add-ons from Minecraft: Xbox 360 edition to Minecraft: Xbox One Edition? I've seen people show it on Youtube videos. When I try it, I don't have the same option those people had.

    Try phoning them 0800 587 1102. It's a free number so no need to worry about the cost.

    Thank you so much! Spent nearly 2 hours on the phone to a very patient guy who couldn't solve this issue with my account either so we have created a new one. And I can now buy my add-ons. Result!

    Hi Lisha,

    Thank you for contacting the forums. Which version of Minecraft are you talking about buy add-ons from? There are 3 separate versions of Minecraft (Minecraft, Minecraft Xbox One Edition and Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition). I would recommend you to buy Xbox 360
    add-ons through the Xbox 360 marketplace if you specifically want add-ons on your son's Xbox 360.

    Let me help you with your concern today. Please note that this is a public forum, I apologize for a delay in response.

    Sorry to hear you're having trouble purchasing. Are you trying to purchase through Minecraft Marketplace on web (https://www.minecraft.net/en-us/catalog)?

    When you are trying to purchase through Marketplace web, it will give you a prompt to open the game. Like in the image below. You will have to select "Open Minecraft". If it's not giving you any pop-up like that, you can just launch the game and purchase directly in-game. Are you having any issue purchasing add-ons in there?
