    I want to buy AC: Rogue on my Xbox One since it's now backwards compatible. I tried on my Xbox One but it says that you have to buy it on xbox.com or Xbox 360. My Xbox 360 can't connect to the internet so I tried on Xbox.com with wallet funds. When I tried,
    it said this :

    The website says: "go buy on your Xbox".

    Hey there, BelgianElite666!

    Sorry to see any issues with purchasing Assassin's Creed: Rogue! These errors show up on both the website and the console when your account is a child account. Child account means the account's birth date is set to something younger than the legal adult
    age in your region, which would be 18 if you live in Belgium (based on your screenshot). Note that you cannot change the age on Xbox accounts at this time, and changing your settings to "Adult" for content and purchasing will not allow you to make these purchases.

    You will need to make this purchase on the Xbox 360 console, for both the child account and to purchase with the account's currency. For more information, you can check out our

    support article. (This game is also rated 18 in Belgium, so you may not be able to make the purchase on your Xbox 360, either, without the parent account granting permission. You can see more about how to work with that on

    However, that language issue with French is weird if you do not have the website to show up in French for Belgium. If you have it set up for Dutch, it should be showing as Dutch. Because of your screenshot showing that it should be in Dutch, I tested this
    out on a child account we have access to. Oddly enough, the language for our error was in English. I'm wondering if you might live somewhere where it might be common to speak French? Since you're receiving a child account error, you could test out other Xbox
    360 games on the website to see if they also show up in French.

    Let me know if the above is a possibility and what your results are. We'll try to narrow down why it's showing up in French. can't buy it anywhere :)

    I checked on the website if I could buy other games for Xbox 360, both 18+ and -18 games didn't work. On the Xbox One, I could buy both 18+ and -18 games. So it has to do with the Xbox 360 store. I can't connect my Xbox 360 to the internet because I don't
    have a WiFi-reciever or an ethernet cable runing to my room. I can try to use a parent account to purchase the game, but i'll have to wait until saturday because my parents are divorced and my Xbox is at my dad's place.

    When I went on the Xbox One store, the whole store showed up in French. I changed the 'fr' to 'nl' in the link and it changed again. So I guess it's the region you live in.

  6. Do you receive the error that you shared in here originally when you attempt to purchase Xbox 360 titles that are 18+? If you are, that might have to do with your purchasing settings on your account. A parent account would need to change that.

    Let me know if you were able to test that this weekend, too! We had our Emerald City Comic Con that I was working at over the weekend, so I was only just able to see your response. Hopefully we're all sorted out now, though! can't buy it anywhere :)

  7. Yes, I get the same error as on the screenshot, so I tried with a parrent account and it showed no error. I was able to buy the game but my funds are still on my account and not on the parrent account so I didn't buy the game.

    I checked the setting and nothing seems wrong with it, everything is set as non-restictive as possible.

    Is there a way to transfer funds from my account to the parrent account?

    Unfortunately, not any longer. There used to be a way with the Xbox 360 Family Gold, however that was retired several years ago. In order to have currency on child accounts now they have to be added directly onto the account. However, I do encourage you
    to check out our Feedback site; there is likely a suggestion there to implement this feature again on Family accounts.

    It's weird that you can't purchase even -18 games on the website. You should be able to if your settings are all good. If you can, sign in to the
    Xbox Settings page with the parent account. There should be an option there to select your account. When you do, click on "Xbox 360 Online Safety" (third option under the accounts). There's an
    option there, third one down, for Purchasing. If that's Blocked, that is likely what you are running into with all games. If it says Allowed, switch it to Blocked, click Save at the bottom, then switch it back to Allowed. That should reset it.

    Let me know if that works. can't buy it anywhere :)

    The setting was indeed blocked so I changed it multiple times with multiple tries of purchasing, but it still gives me the same message/error.

    I voted for some things on the feedback site that could help it.

    But all of them have very little votes, so that will take a while before it gets through. can't buy it anywhere :(

    I think we're running out of possible sollutions...

    phone support
    in Belgium to see if they can help out with permissions issues. (That link should give you the phone number for your region.) Let them know all the troubleshooting we had done and that it's still not working.

    If they are unable to help you out, send me an Xbox Live message with the reference number that they should provide you (if they don't, be sure to get one before you hang up). From there, we'll be able to look into other options that I may be able to do.

    The problem is solved! On the phone, they said that I should go to a friend who has a Xbox 360 with internet connection, log in with my account and buy it there.

    So I did and I'm currently downloading the game to my Xbox One.
