    Can't buy any games

    I have a pre paid Visa card that I intended to buy a few games with, but the expiration date goes past 2020 so I can't use it from the Xbox. I went to the website to try and buy the game online but my account is a child account so I'm unable to buy the
    game from the website also....I also don't have access to my payment method with this account so I can't add the card then buy it from the xbox. I have an adult account that keeps track of this one but how do I buy this game because I'm out of ideas.

    I'm having the same problem, but I've noticed something that only makes my problem seem stranger. I can make purchases, but I can't buy anything over $5.00.

    Purchase issues can be frustrating, but luckily we've got some pages for the error codes you're seeing. Can you please try the steps listed for

    80167611     &
    80072741    ? Any luck with those steps? Let us know if there are questions with any of the steps or if the issue persists after you can try them all.

    As this looks like a billing info issue of some nature, we'd also recommend trying to add another payment option to the account, if possible. Otherwise, the steps listed in those links should cover you.
