Can't buy game on xbox one

Trying to buy a game for $59.99 on xbox marketplace, and I have $67.04 in my account, but when I try to pay for it it asks me how I want to pay the rest. Is there really $8 or more tax on these games? Is there a way to buy the extra small amount of money
needed? I also live in British Columbia, were there should be 7% tax.

Can't buy xbox 360 games on xbox one

I'm trying to redeem a xbox 360 game on xbox live gold deals and when i try to complete the transaction it says that this type of payment can not be done on xbox.com only on the xbox, what have i done wrong?

If you're on a child account, you would need to make the purchase from a 360 console.

Otherwise, make sure you have a credit card or Paypal on file to make the purchase.

I haven't had this problem yet, but you would think paying for a digital copy of a game would be cheaper since there is no physical disc, box or packaging.

You can't play 360 games on the xbox one. you'll have to buy the Xbox one version of the game.

the same account works for both Xbox One and Xbox 360 you shouldn't have any problem buying the game try to buy it from the xbox One and if you can't then try to buy it from the xbox website

GIftcards can't be used to buy backward compatible games on Xbox One X.

Why can't i get it then? It says, "Buy on Xbox.com or Xbox 360. You can't buy this on Xbox One." Im worried i am going to buy it and it wont work on my xbox one
