Sorry to hear it. Let's try power cycling the console by holding the power button on it for 10 seconds until it shuts down to see if that helps. If it does not then do a factory reset on the console. There is an option to keep installed games and apps
so you won't need to reinstall them.

Hello Patrick, by your description you are trying to make the purchase through the console, I don't know how many attempts to purchase you have made, but as the purchase process on the Xbox/Microsoft platform is completely automatic and this error message is appearing, the ideal thing is to wait between 24 / 48 hours to try again, and also try making the purchase through the Xbox website in a normal PC browser.

Note: if you have made more than 3 attempts, do not try to do more, as the system may block your account for security purchases.
