Cant buy anything

hey guyz i got gift card last night and today i try to redeem it i live in uae and the gift card was from usa so when i try on xbox console its not work then i go to xbox.com and change my region and its works and give me $30 but i cant buy anything on my
xbox console its say u need to redeem a code or credit card or paypal

on xbox.com i got a problem can anyone help me?

Ok, just for future reference currency cards purchased can only be used in the region they were purchased in. For example, if you purchase the card from the US your account must be set to US in order to use the amount.

Now, if you are trying to purchase items from the website you will not be able to use the currency on the account. You can only use it from the console. But be aware that some items are region locked and you may not be able to download them once purchased.

Finally, please remember that you will not be able to change your account back to your region for 90 days.
