Cant buy anything on xbox live

I havent been able to buy anythin on xbox live for a while now and i really want to buy Saints Row 4 that is on sale. I cant buy anything although everythin on my account is set properly.

Cant buy anything on Xbox Store

I haven't been able to buy anything on the Xbox Store. Whenever I click to buy it I get an error message. I've tried it on my Xbox, phone, tablet, PC but they all get error messages when I try to buy something.

What's going on?

Hey there!

What is the particular error message that you get when you try to purchase something? Can you provide us with screenshots of the error on console and/or Xbox.com? Does this happen when you try to purchase anything or something specific?

We need a whole bunch more information before we know which directly to look.

Are you receiving an error message or error number when you try to make a purchase? If so, please let us know. Also, have you tried making the purchase via the console and the website?

I have tried from the xbox and i get an error message saying that the purchase methos has to be changed or something like that and when i try to purchase it on the website to my account it says that the purchase could not be completed at the time. I get
no error code tho

Ok, just for future reference currency cards purchased can only be used in the region they were purchased in. For example, if you purchase the card from the US your account must be set to US in order to use the amount.

Now, if you are trying to purchase items from the website you will not be able to use the currency on the account. You can only use it from the console. But be aware that some items are region locked and you may not be able to download them once purchased.

Finally, please remember that you will not be able to change your account back to your region for 90 days.
