Can't buy 360 games from web store

When I try to buy Left 4 Dead 2 it says I have no valid payment option this is wrong I do and just bought stuff on my xbox one. Checked the account on the web page and yup its there with all the correct information.

So from here it ask if I want to add a new card, so sure I click it and it just sits there forever spinning the little green quarter circles.

You can't buy 360 games from the xbox one as they are separate marketplaces

Only way to download 360 games is an 360 console.or the 360 Web marketplace

 

Add a payment option at commerce.microsoft.com that matches your account regikm

 

I already have one there and its valid and I used it just a couple weeks ago

 

Your billing option must match the region of your actual acocoumt

So if you really have a UK account but have a use or French creditcard it won't work

Nor will a UK account and France location and French billing option will work

All 3 have to match and no using PayPal won't work

Two reasons first the PayPal billing info not the region must match the region of the xbox account

So using a French creditcard to use on a UK PayPal for a UK xbox account won't work

It has to be same region xbox account payment option and physical location

 

Because of the way xbox 360 works

I the first post I mention it is the correct region, I have always been in the US and have always have had my xbox systems set to that region.

 

Do you mean a us foreign bases if so that doesn't actually count as the us

You have to use the local host country

Also since this is a billing issue you actually have to call support to sort out the issue

 

Anything and everything related to billing or accohnt billing has to be handled by support chat or phone not forums

payment option set up on your account. If you have an option set up on your account that isn't supported in the US (like, Direct debit), then you will need to add another payment option to be able to make the "free" purchases for the Xbox 360 or on the

I do not have a credit card attached to my account and can download free Xbox One games fine. If I try to download free Xbox 360 games, it says I need a payment option. I find it stupid that I need a credit card to download a free game. -_-
