Can't be invited to games or party

Hello there!

So I can invite my siblings to a game, I can receive messages and it will pop at the bottom of the screen.

My problem is that I CAN'T RECEIVE INVITES WHAT SO EVER. When trying to join a game, the option is grayed out. When the peeps on the other end try and invite me, the message goes through but on my end I do not receive party invites or game invites. I have
tried to hard reset my xbox and change my account privacy settings to adult default but nothing has changed

TIL, I can get messages, I can invite my bros to games and parties. But they can't invite me to parties and games and I can not join games they are in even though we are playing the same game(like farcry 5 and battlefront 2). I assume it is a privacy setting
but brah i can't legit figure it out.

I can join parties and receive party invites just fine. The problem is the game invites. For example, I was trying to play Call of Duty: Warzone through a Looking For Group post. I join the party but then don't receive the game invite and can't invite
them to my game.

I can't send party invites and messages to my xbox friends through my xbox 360. Will the invites for both games and party shutting down this week?

Same here - playing EA NHL Legacy on Xbox 360 - can't send game invites. Can't send any messages on Xbox 360. Can join another person's party by going to their profile and clicking join party, but can't send or receive a party invite. Even if they are in a joinable game though, the "Join Game" option does not appear on their profile, so without game invites there's no way for us to play a game together. This is awful - any fix soon?
