    Can't be heard in xbox chat


    The other day I was in a party and my microphone quit working. I figured that it was just the controller so I switched them and then it still didn't work evne when I stitched headsets. I was able to hear everyone as well as game sound. Today I went out and
    bought a brand new headset but I still couldn't be heard. I looked up what could be wrong and I tried to do everything that was suggested. I was wondering if anybody could help me figure out what happened?

    My freinds can't hear me. No voice ban, my mic works i even got a new one but my freinds still can't hear me. Can anyone help

    Cant be heard in party chat

    Hello all I need help with headset, when im in party chat, i can hear others buy they cant hear me, controller is up to date, its not on mute, and ive put in new batteries, its the same problem plugged into adaptor and without adaptor. Privacy settings
    are normal default.. Ive used my headset plugged into my phone and made a call, the mic works perfectly fine. ive tried so many things to get it to work but still cant be heard, any help would be much appreciated..

    I was using the Tritton Kama headset and then yesterday I purchased the Turtle Beach Recon 50x headset and they didn't work. Yes I did try to reset my network.

    Hey there RobbyH2J2,

    Would you happen to be in the Xbox One preview program by chance? It's possible this could be a bug so we'd want to cover all bases. Also, have you been able to try with a normal Xbox One chat headset to see if it worked?

    Mister Mascot, I am part of preview program and cannot be heard in game chat.. parties are fine and I can hear players in game chat I just cannot be heard and I am using the normal xbox one headset

    I actually am a part of the preview program and I think that might be it if you are having the problwm as well BETHAMPHETAMINE.

    Thank you both for your help I will try and see if that is the reason.

    I tried out without and with the preview program and I think that that isn't the problem. I was still unable to be heard when I was talking to my friends. I don't know what the problem is. Also my xbox never came with a chat headset so I don't have one.

    Party chat, can't be heard

    question please...when in party chat, I can hear others, but they can't hear me. So far I've tried 2 different xbox ones, three controllers (one new) and three headsets (one new). My friend has tried two controllers and two headsets (one new).
    NAT is open on both xboxes, microphone switched on in settings, mic not muted on the headset, volume turned up in settings. I've done a self / solo party test, which worked OK, circle around gamertag responds to voice. Help is appreciated as I'm stuck!
    I am having similar issues with a new headset. We can pair and hear the game audio through the headset, but it is not signalling into, nor receiving any chat audio....

    Game chat on Twitch

    There is a setting that allows game chat and party chat to be heard in stream. I've seen it before, can't remember where it is but it's there. Should be in the twitch app or broadcast settings.

    I concur with NAT solution as it has been one of my issues until i figured it out by hitting "check again" till it shows the open message... Some folks you just cant run with or something in their setup screws up your mojo too so...its a mess all the time
